Kindergarten Teacher

My name is Annette Monroe and this is my 3rd year at Msa. I will be teaching Kindergarten this year. My goal is to love your children like I do my own and to teach them academics and spiritually to the best of my ability.

I am married to my husband, Rodney. We have three children, Brandon 28 (Portland, OR), Brittney 25 (Austin, TX), and Austin 22 (Baylor University). We live in Bonham and are currently attending First Baptist Church Bonham.

I graduated from Mesquite High School. I attended Baylor Univeristy where I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading. I also earned a masters in early childhood education from East Texas State University. I have taught in public schools for more than 30 years! 23 years in 1st grade, 2 years in Kindergarten, 2 years in 2nd grade, and 3 years teaching 7th grade reading.
