5th - 8th grade English & Bible
(903) 583-5974

This will be my first year teaching at MSA. I am thoroughly elated to be joining such an awesome school! I will be instructing 5-8th grades in the art of the English language, as well as the bible. My goal is to inspire students, causing them to learn all they can about how to read, write, and communicate with excellence. I believe that when students are able to share their stories, ideas, and beliefs through a Christian worldview, our world will be impacted for His glory. Because of this, ELA education is of the utmost importance. My heart is that your student would gain a passion for the English language because it helps them to share Jesus with others.

I was born in raised in Kansas. After following a calling ministry, I had been working in various churches leading worship and teaching youth. In 2007, God sent me all the way to Reno, Nevada to meet and marry my wife, Christina. After graduating from UNR, She and I promptly moved to Texas in 2010, where I spent five years in youth ministry. During that time we were blessed to take in two boys, one of which (Dillon) just graduated from High school. The other (Denver) is still working towards that achievement, but he has a couple of years to go. Four months ago, Christina and I had our world turned upside down when we were asked if we would like to adopt a beautiful baby girl. Blakely (said girl) is three months old, and growing fast. Christina and I live with our family in Savoy, Texas. We are members of The Way (a new church startup) and love to worship with our church family! I also spend time collecting Ninja Turtles, playing music, reading, and watching Sooner football.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education for the University of Nevada in 2010. I am also licensed and ordained to the gospel ministry through the Southern Baptist Convention. I will be pursuing my Masters in Divinity at some point in the near future. This is my second year working as a teacher in the classroom, and my thirteenth working with students.
